Keith Hansen is an author and wildlife artist who specializes in the inspirational and accurate portrayal of birds. He has a wildlife gallery in Bolinas where he produces his art, and is currently illustrating a field guide for the 316 species of birds that occur in the Sierra Nevada. He also conducts birding expeditions . His movie of his past year of birding included wonderful footage of his trips to New England and to Costa Rica, with close up shots of many different species of birds recorded on his trips, as well as the large number of sightings he has logged from his studio in Bolinas,
